“Christian, don’t live your life trying to please everyone. Jesus didn’t live to please everyone. Jesus perfectly lived to please His Father and was ridiculed by his own family while being hated and murdered on a cross by “religious people.” The fact is that there will be people who don’t like you, even people in churches. You won’t meet every person’s (often ridiculous) expectations of you. You will inevitably let people down. Therefore, live to please God and walk in a manner consistent with your calling, and worthy of the Gospel of Christ. That’s what true freedom is.”
