Now this may sound radical, but it’s actually the biblical truth.
The church was not called to be the primary discipler of your children. The Bible never lays out a children’s program as the hope for the next generation. You were called to disciple them, parents. The Lord has called you to disciple your children. They are gifts He providentially has given to you. No life is an accident or mistake.
And for single Christian parents out there, it is likely that Timothy, Paul’s most famous protegee did not have a believing father. The Lord can still use you in your child’s life!
“when I call to remembrance the genuine faith that is in you, which dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am persuaded is in you also.” 2 Timothy 1:5
Check out Titus 2 as well. Dad’s matter but so do Moms! Mom’s, you have an incredible and valuable call from the Lord in nurturing the next generation of Believers from your own household. Don’t embrace Satan’s lie in running from that calling.
