I had a Great conversation tonight, actually several of them but I wanted to share this one because it was all in public anyway. And the reason I want to share it is because some are watching the things I’ve been saying recently and wondering where am I coming from and thinking I’m out of my mind, by God’s grace, I endeavor to live what I’m saying here and I know I can’t do it on my own strength:

I think you negated your point, Brother, when you said that two decisions were equally glorifying God. One decision clearly, and biblically was sacrificially, choosing to love your wife, and serve her, the other would’ve been selfish and sinful for you

I also want to affirm that I am right there with you in the fact that women, indeed, take risks. Many take the risk to Mary, an imperfect man, to begin a home with him, and support him in the calling the Lord is placed on his life. Furthermore, I believe women have probably done more to extend the gospel than men throughout missions history of women have taken the gospel to those that are most in need and most overlooked more than any man ever has I believe. Role is different, yes. Function is different, yes. But truly, men servants and maidservants, have had the Spirit of God poured out upon them.

I also personally believe that women are much stronger than men. They may be weaker, physically, and more tender hearted. But that is not weakness, it is actually a tremendous strength. Women feel much more deeply than we men who often have calloused hearts, and they still choose to love, women, give birth to children, women don’t feel well themselves, and still keep going and serving others. Most men think they’re going to die, if they have a toothache. Both men and women are valuable and equal while, yet distinct. And God calls us to submit to His creative design, not turn to an evolutionary, survival of the fittest, egalitarian rebellion against His design. Genesis matters! The foundations of life, marriage, gender, and family matter!! (and I’m not yelling at you, Brother, but emphasizing the point for the others reading this publicly)

“For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God; but woman is the glory of man. For man is not from woman, but woman from man. Nor was man created for the woman, but woman for the man. For this reason the woman ought to have a symbol of authority on her head, because of the angels. Nevertheless, neither is man independent of woman, nor woman independent of man, in the Lord. For as woman came from man, even so man also comes through woman; but all things are from God. But if anyone seems to be contentious, we have no such custom, nor do the churches of God.”
‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭11‬:‭7‬-‭12‬, ‭16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

I believe the last part of this passage that I quoted, is saying, that if someone is contentious, when we speak biblical truth that we as believers are called to still live at, we have not been called to enforce traditions. We have been called to declare, this Is what the Word of the Lord says, and then endeavor to humbly live at living lives of continual repenting, until the Lord calls us home
