Scripture:

“And Moses and Aaron gathered the assembly together before the rock; and he said to them, “Hear now, you rebels! Must we bring water for you out of this rock?” Then Moses lifted his hand and struck the rock twice with his rod; and water came out abundantly, and the congregation and their animals drank.” Numbers 20:10-11 NKJV https://bible.com/bible/114/num.20.10-11.NKJV

Observations:

• Moses’ anger – you rebels!

• “we” must bring you water

• struck the rock twice, didn’t speak to it

Application:

• Moses did things his own way rather than the Lord’s

• “for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God.” James 1:20

Prayer: “And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.” Matthew 6:13
