
On social media, I saw the question asked what is missing from our schools that should be there?
I’ve been thinking about that prior and penned it.
All education types:
The Bible (including the Gospel)
Specifically:
(Watch the Marked People podcast, I’m planning on doing an episode on Theological education – should we restore it to churches instead of the institutions? within the next few months)
In our seminaries – coaching in discernment and commitment to being a lifelong student of the Bible (including humility and dogmatic firmness upon the fundamentals Word: that Jesus Christ is the Son of God fully human and fully divine, in the substitutionary atonement of Christ, in repentance and being born again, of the imminent Return of Christ, in the Trinity, in the inerrancy and sufficiency of Scripture, in the evil fallen nature of every human being, in the absolute desperate need of the Holy Spirit’s anointing, in devotion to seeking waiting on and living for the Lord Will —theology and practice should go hand in hand)
