There is nothing like the great outdoors. In my teens I loved camping and survival. I was involved in a boy scout-like ministry and enjoyed every minute of it! Now, in my twenties, I still wouldn’t mind camping but it is not my biggest thrill and harder to find time to get away and do. However, hiking has become my passion. This Spring and Summer I hiked quite a few of the local trails in Missouri. There are tons of options in your backyard and “across-the-street” in this state! Typically, I do 2-3 mile hikes, with the occasional 5’er. I also discovered that my brother loves hiking with me too. By far Pickle Springs was the best hike with him this year and many memories, plus one of my favorite pictures came from it.
